About the event
Join Beyond Choir for our 2026 Summer Sing featuring Mozart’s complete Requiem, one of the most beloved and powerful works in the choral repertoire.
This community-centered event invites singers from across the region to come together for an afternoon of music making, collaboration, and exploration. Whether you are a seasoned choral musician or simply love to sing, all are welcome to participate.
Singer registration is $5 and helps support music preparation and event operations. Loaner copies of the score will be available at check-in, though singers are encouraged to bring their own score if possible.
The event will take place in the historic Pease Auditorium on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, with downbeat promptly at 3:30 PM.
Business casual attire is suggested for participating singers, as the afternoon will conclude with a public performance of Mozart’s complete Requiem for friends, family, and community members.…
