Sadarra Fields

Sadarra Fields is a vocalist, pianist, and conductor. She currently serves as the Director of Choirs at Forsythe Middle School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Beyond the classroom, she sings with the Brazeal Dennard Chorale, teaches private piano lessons, teaches an online beginner music class for adults, and serves as the pianist at her church. Sadarra earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Western Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Concordia University. In addition to her work in music and education, she is a part-time trauma recovery coach. Of African-American and Samoan heritage, Sadarra is passionate about preserving and promoting the musical traditions of both cultures.
