Rachel Quillian

Rachel Quillian is a teacher and vocalist who keeps a busy music schedule. In addition to singing with Beyond Choir, she will also be singing in the Detroit Concert Choir this year. Before moving to the area, she sang with the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus, Calvin Alumni Choir, West Michigan Choral Lab, and performed as a soloist for various churches in Grand Rapids, MI. This past summer, she performed with the Michigan Musicians Abroad choir on a tour through five European countries with many of her former students.

She currently teaches choir at Marysville High School and Middle School and serves as the vocal director for the high school musicals. Before Marysville, Rachel also taught choir in Plainwell, MI and Batesville, IN. In January 2025, her Plainwell Middle School Honors Choir performed at the Michigan Music Conference. She teaches sectionals and vocal technique classes at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for two weeks each summer and started Blue Lake’s mini choir camp program two summers ago.
