Peyton Fleming

Peyton Fleming (he/him/they), a native of Southern Idaho, is a Detroit-Metro based Vocal Artist who specializes in counter tenor (male alto) repertoire. As a versatile artist, he enjoys a wide range of musical endeavors including choral music, oratorio, sacred music, early music, and mainstage opera productions.


In the past, Peyton has enjoyed collaborations with the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, Atlanta Festival Consort, Opera Idaho (mainstage productions), and Critical Mass Vocal Artists. Previously, he held staff singer positions at Peachtree Presbyterian (Buckhead, GA) and Holy Trinity Parish (Decatur, GA) and was a member of the internationally recognized infamous Atlanta Master Chorale.


Currently, he sings with Vocal Arts Ensemble (Ann Arbor, MI), is a Resident Singer with Beyond Choir (Detroit, MI) and holds a Staff Singer position at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church.


He holds degrees from Georgia State University, MM - Choral Conducting where he studied with Dr.'s Deanna Joseph, Jennifer Sengin and Emily Hobson-Gallardo. Also, from The College of Idaho, B.A. - Music Education/Voice Performance under Dr.'s Grant Farmer and Brent Wells.


Personally, Peyton also works as a sports official, focusing on up to and including collegiate level softball and volleyball. This mini career has provided him the opportunity to have a flexible schedule and work professionally as a musician and advocate for youth sports.
