Paul Moran

Paul Moran has worn many hats throughout his music career. As a Counter Tenor, he has been on multiple international tours, performing at St. Peter's Basilica, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abby, Salisbury Cathedral, the Duomos in Florence and Sienna, St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, St. David's in Pembrokeshire, St. Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne, and Christ Church Cathedral in Christchurch New Zealand. In the United States, he has had the honor to perform at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. on several occasions.
Locally he has performed as a soloist with the Bloomfield-Birmingham Symphony, the Warren Symphony, the Pontiac-Oakland Symphony and the Saginaw Symphony. His featured works included Orff's Carmina Burana, Bach's St. John Passion, St. Matthew Passion and Magnificat, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, Handel's Messiah and Purcell's Come Ye Sons of Art. Paul was also a Counter Tenor soloist at Christ Church Grosse Pointe for 16 years under the direction of Fred DeHaven and a founding member of the DeHaven Chorale.
As a Baritenor, Paul has performed on 2 cruise ships and has been in over 50 musicals throughout the United States. He has a degree in Music Education from Oakland University and was an Adjunct teacher there after graduation, directing the Meadow Brook Estate Show Ensemble, the Oakland Vocal Jazz Ensemble and numerous musical theatre productions. He is also a music arranger for Show Choir competitions and a choral composer.
