Mike Rowan is an active singer, composer, and director in Southeast Michigan. In addition to performing with Beyond, he sings with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Lakeshore Chamber Singers, Audivi, and others, and formed the Detroit-based vocal ensemble Crossroads in 2025. Mike is the business development manager for Chorus America, a national advocacy and leadership association for the choral field, and has also served on the boards of multiple choruses in Washington DC. He grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in organizational studies.
