Meghan Eldred-Woolsey

Meghan Eldred-Woolsey received her Bachelor of Music Education and a masters in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University, is in her nineteenth year as director of choirs and musical theatre at DeWitt High School, and tenth year as Artistic Director for Sistrum, Lansing Women’s Chorus. Under her direction, DeWitt choirs have been selected to perform at the MSVMA Choral Hour at the Michigan Music Conference (2011, 2014, 2024), the ACDA Michigan Fall Conference (2011), the Michigan Youth Arts Festival, and the MSVMA All-State Festival (2024 Outstanding Choir of the Year). In 2017, Meghan received the Greg Reuter Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre Education and, in 2019-2020, she was chosen to direct the MSVMA TTBB State Honors Choir. Meghan is an avid director and performer in the Lansing Theatre Community and also performs with Dr. Sandra Snow's professional treble ensemble, Mirabai. She resides in DeWitt with her husband, Adam, and their three children, Lottie, RJ, and Iris.
