Jennifer is an active singer and guest conductor for several Metro Detroit Churches including Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dearborn; St. Thomas More, Troy; St. John Lutheran, Farmington; and Detroit Central United Methodist Church. Â In addition to being thrilled to be a Beyond Resident Singer, Jennifer also sings with the Detroit Concert Choir and was a featured soloist on their 2024 European Tour to Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.Â
In 2024, Jennifer was named the City of Dearborn’s Mayor’s Arts Awards Arts Educator of the Year. She has provided the musical direction for area productions of Disney’s Newsies, Something Rotten!, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Lend Me A Tenor,  Mean Girls: The Musical, and Newsies, the last two of which earned her the 2023 and 2025 Dearborn Area Theatre Association Award for Outstanding Musical Direction.
Jennifer currently teaches music to grades K-8 at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Dearborn. She is a vocal coach for the Grosse Pointe South High School Choirs and enjoys being a choral clinician with metro Detroit middle and high school choirs. Previous to that Jennifer had a wonderful twenty-eight year career as a music educator for the Dearborn Public Schools, highlighted by her tenure as both the Director of the Dearborn High School Vocal Music program, where she led the DHS Vocal Ensemble to first division MSVMA ratings at both the district and state levels and was also the Director of the Dearborn Middle Schools’ Honors Choir from 2001-2021. Under her direction, the Honors Choir performed with the Dearborn Symphony, the Indianapolis Children's Choir Fort Wayne, the Ann Arbor Children's Choir, the Detroit Children's Choir, and the Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra to name a few. Jennifer holds her Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education from Wayne State University and has sung under the direction of Dr. Harry Langsford, Professor Dennis Tini, and April Tini. Jennifer earned her Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at Oakland University. While at Oakland University, Jennifer studied conducting with Dr. Michael Mitchell and voice with Barbara Bland and Edith Diggory. Â
