Jennifer Neumann is an Educator and has taught grades K-5, and 9-12. She has been Director of Choirs at the high school level at Plymouth-ÂCanton Educational Park (P-CEP) in Canton, Michigan since 2000. Ms. Neumann holds a bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education from Eastern Michigan University, where she studied under the late Dr. Leonard Riccinto, and a master's degree in The Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. She is a member of Michigan School Vocal Music Association and the American Choral Directors Association.
Under her direction, the P-CEP Choirs are consistently invited to perform in collaborative-concerts and festivals, including three occasions on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Internationally, her ensembles have toured England, Austria, Germany, Ireland, and Italy, including performances at St. Peter's Basilica and St. Mark's Basilica. The P-CEP Choirs are recognized as being some of the top high school vocal ensembles in the state of Michigan and beyond. Ms. Neumann lives in Ypsilanti, MI and has two adult children: daughter Virginia Kopp, and son Keegan Kopp.
