Emily Lau

Emily Lau has sung with Beyond since 2023 and has also appeared with the ensemble as pianist. She teaches piano in her home studio and is the current president of the Ann Arbor Area Piano Teachers Guild. Emily is a Certified Teacher in piano and a member of the College of Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She previously taught at the New School for Music Study in New Jersey, the lab school of the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy, and curated media content for teacher education on behalf of the Center. Emily holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Roosevelt University. She also sings with the St. Francis Schola at her home parish in Ann Arbor.
