Alissa Amell-Postler

Alissa Amell-Postler is a passionate vocalist and music educator committed to nurturing musical growth in learners of all ages. She currently teaches elementary general music within Ann Arbor Public Schools, where she designs and leads an inclusive music program that emphasizes vocal development, creativity, and a lifelong love of the arts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in K–12 Music Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, both from Eastern Michigan University. She has additional certifications in elementary general music and early childhood music through the Gordon Institute for Music Learning, grounding her teaching in research-based, developmentally appropriate practices. She is excited to continue her work with Beyond in the hopes of always growing towards the highest level of artistry.
